What do we offer?
A total challenge to review key Spanish content, expand on it, and delve deeper through an intensive online course with the following features:
- 10 hours of Spanish, spread over 5 days
- Three different levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced
- Five different grammar topics for each level (see below for more information)
- 5 hours of live online classes via Zoom. Sessions will be recorded and sent the same day for those who cannot attend.
- 5 hours of additional exercises for independent practice
- Small groups for a more personalized experience.
- Experienced and qualified native Spanish teachers.
Choose your course!
Beginner Level
- Pronunciation in Spanish: We will review the basic pronunciation rules in Spanish and practice with various exercises.
- Spanish Accentuation Rules: We will recall the basic rules for placing accents and stressing words in Spanish.
- Por or Para?: In this session, we will review the uses of these two prepositions with concrete examples and address the most common por/para mistakes.
- Ser or Estar?: We will revise when to use each verb and how the meaning of some adjectives changes depending on which verb they are paired with.
- Qué or Cuál?: In this final session, we will focus on the difference between these two interrogative pronouns and review the use of other Spanish interrogatives.

Intermediate Level
- Using the verb “gustar”: Learn how to correctly use the verb “gustar” and its different objects, including how to use it with people. All this and more in our first session.
- Contrasting past tenses: We’ll review and contrast the uses of the four past tenses in the indicative mood: pretérito perfecto, indefinido, imperfecto, and pluscuamperfecto.
- Direct and indirect objects: Delve into the meaning of these objects and their pronouns, how they complement the verb, their differences, use, and combinations.
- Passive voice in Spanish: Analyze how the passive voice works in Spanish, the different forms to construct it, and when to use each.
- Lo, the neuter article: Explore how to correctly use the neuter article “lo” in Spanish in this final session.

Advanced Level
- Verbs with subjunctive and indicative: Explore how the meaning of some verbs in Spanish varies depending on whether they are accompanied by the indicative or subjunctive in Spanish. We’ll look into which these verbs are and why this occurs.
- Verbs of change: Identify the main verbs in Spanish that express change (in state, character, situation…) and learn how to use each of these verbs.
- Indirect Speech in Spanish: Review the rules for transforming direct speech into indirect speech, with a focus on context and communication.
- Uses of “SE”: Explore the various meanings and uses of the pronoun “SE” in context.
- Impersonal sentences: In our final session, explore the various ways in Spanish to create impersonal sentences.
